About the Role

The Senior Relationship Manager – Business Banking is responsible for delivering tailored financial solutions to meet the working capital and banking needs of Business Banking customers. The role focuses on acquiring new asset clients, deepening relationships across liabilities and trade forex (TFX), and ensuring a superior customer experience. The role requires close collaboration with product, branch, credit, and operations teams to drive effective acquisition, servicing, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Acquire new Business Banking customers with a strong understanding of credit assessment and financial analysis.
  • Target high-value MSME clients and trade forex-funded asset relationships.
  • Deepen customer relationships across liabilities, trade forex, and other banking products.
  • Collaborate with branch banking teams to leverage synergies and optimize cross-functional outcomes.
  • Evaluate market trends and competitor strategies to inform growth plans.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality across the branch network.
  • Demonstrate strong sales planning capabilities and contribute to promotional and marketing initiatives.
  • Understand financial statements, credit assessments, and title/security documentation.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Work within the broader bank ecosystem to ensure seamless customer onboarding and servicing.
  • Maintain high standards of relationship management and delinquency control.
  • Support data-driven decision-making and customer engagement strategies.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduation: Any stream (Full-Time)
  • Postgraduation: MBA (Preferred)

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the BFSI sector, preferably in business banking or SME lending.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong understanding of credit assessment and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of liabilities, trade forex, and MSME banking products.
  • Excellent relationship management and customer servicing skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and drive business outcomes.
  • Sales planning and execution capabilities.
  • Fluent in English with strong business communication skills.
