The Role

You will be expected to navigate diverse and evolving regulatory requirements across Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Macau, in order to deliver timely, compliant products across multiple markets with varying regulatory requirements. You will also drive cross‑functional alignment with suppliers and internal stakeholders, improve importation workflows to ensure timely delivery of regulatory documentation.

  • Coordinate end‑to‑end regulatory compliance requirements across all DFI selling markets for Health & Beauty indent products and execution, ensuring that they meet applicable government legislation and DFI standards.
  • Consolidate and communicate market‑specific regulatory requirements to internal teams and suppliers to support compliant product launches and marketing planning.
  • Act as the primary liaison between DFI internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure clarity on regulatory expectations, documentation needs, and project requirements.
  • Facilitate and follow up on information exchanges with suppliers, ensuring timely submission of regulatory documents, product data, and compliance evidence.
  • Follow through the execution of all regulatory compliance control points—from formulation screening, artwork/label validation, dossier review, product claims review, marketing materials to importation/registration requirements—according to project timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with Group RA, Format RA, Banner RA teams, Supply Chain, Marketing and Commercial functions to ensure smooth execution of regulatory tasks.
  • Monitor progress of assigned projects, identify delays or compliance risks, and proactively escalate or resolve issues to ensure on‑time market readiness.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of regulatory deliverables and regularly update stakeholders on project status and compliance checkpoints.
  • Anticipate regulatory changes and assess their impact on product launch timelines and business plans.
  • Support internal teams by interpreting regulatory updates, providing compliance guidance, and facilitating resolution of regulatory challenges raised by suppliers or local authorities.
  • Lead consistent execution of Regulatory Compliance Programs and maintain audit readiness.
  • Balance speed‑to‑market demands with rigorous compliance standards.

About You

  • Degree with a major in Science or other Science related degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of Minimum 5 years of regulatory experience gained from a retail, brand owner, distributor, or third‑party environment.
  • Experience working for, or managing accounts with a multi-national company/retailer or regionally.
  • Strong expertise in Health & Beauty product project management, with required regulatory background covering cosmetics, drugs, medical devices, health supplements, and traditional products.
  • Hands‑on experience in product importation and regulatory registration is essential (Experience in relevant markets like Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Macau)
  • Independent, effective work management with strengths in strategic planning and implementation.
  • Demonstrated negotiation, presentation, supplier and stakeholder management skills.
  • High energy, positive attitude, proactive, adaptable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office (all aspects).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
