As a Senior Recruiter - Semiconductor VLSI, you'll be at the heart of India's booming semiconductor revolution, sourcing and securing top-tier engineering talent across the entire chip design lifecyclefrom visionary Architecture to the critical Tapeout milestone.
Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Recruitment:
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from job requisition to offer acceptance and onboarding
- Source, screen, interview, and select top semiconductor VLSI talent across PAN India
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
Semiconductor VLSI Hiring Expertise:
- Recruit for specialized roles across the semiconductor value chain including: Architecture (SoC, CPU/GPU), RTL, Verification, Physical Design, DFT (Design for Test), Analog/Mixed-Signal(AMS), Pre and Post-Silicon Validation, Tapeout projects and etc.
- Recruit talent across multiple engagement models including IC Consulting, ODC setups, IC Development, and HDT (Hire-Deploy-Transfer) projects.
- Adapt recruitment strategies based on client requirements and business models to ensure successful project staffing and delivery.
Stakeholder Management, Sourcing & Networking, Candidate Experience:
- Partner closely with hiring managers, business leaders, and technical teams to understand role requirements
- Provide market insights, hiring trends, and talent availability updates to stakeholders
- Manage expectations and deliver on aggressive hiring timelines
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across geographies
- Leverage multiple sourcing channels: job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, IIMJobs), Boolean search, X-Ray search, employee referrals, networking events, and headhunting.
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process by providing timely communication, feedback, and support to candidates. Negotiate offers effectively and facilitate smooth onboarding to create lasting positive impressions and strong employer branding.
Domain Knowledge Development, Metrics & Reporting::
- Demonstrate a strong hunger to learn and deep dive into semiconductor technologies, continuously staying updated on the latest trends in VLSI, chip design, EDA tools, and semiconductor manufacturing.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance rate, and source effectiveness.
- Optimize recruitment processes for efficiency and quality while maintaining accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to drive data-driven insights and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- 4-10 years of proven experience in end-to-end Talent Acquisition
- Mandatory: Strong background in Semiconductor VLSI hiring across India
- Experience recruiting for Design Services, Chip Design, IC Development, and ODC projects
- Hands-on experience with IC Consulting and HDT (Hire-Deploy-Transfer) models
- Deep understanding of semiconductor roles and technologies across:
- Architecture, RTL Design, Verification, Physical Design, DFT, Analog Design, Tapeout etc.,
- Ability to assess technical competencies and conduct preliminary technical screenings
- Familiarity with semiconductor industry terminologies, job families, and career paths
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Engineering/Electronics background is a plus)
- MBA/PGDM in HR is preferred but not mandatory
