Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Recruiter with deep expertise in US federal hiring to drive end-to-end recruitment for government and federal contracting roles. This individual must understand the nuances of federal hiring processes, candidate compliance requirements, and possess strong influencing skills to engage and convert high-quality talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for US federal and government contracting roles
- Source, screen, and engage candidates for technical and non-technical federal positions
- Develop strong talent pipelines across cleared and non-cleared roles
- Educate candidates on federal hiring processes, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Handle and explain Letters of Commitment (LoC) and related contractual obligations
- Effectively influence and convince candidates to switch roles/teams when required
- Build trust with candidates to gather market intelligence (salary trends, project insights, competitor activity)
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring strategy
- Maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the hiring lifecycle
- Ensure timely closures while maintaining quality of hire
- Track recruitment metrics and continuously improve hiring strategies
Required Qualifications
- 6–10+ years of experience in recruitment, with strong focus on US federal hiring / staffing
- Proven experience working with federal clients, prime vendors, or subcontracting models
- Strong understanding of federal hiring workflows, compliance and documentation requirements and contract-based hiring models
- Experience handling Letters of Commitment (LoC) and candidate agreements
- Demonstrated ability to close hard-to-fill roles
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Experience using ATS platforms and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, etc.)
