We're Hiring: Senior Real Estate Business Development | Mumbai

Saurabh H Bora (SHB) Family Office, a buy-side private equity family office, is seeking a Senior Real Estate Business Development to join our investment team in Mumbai. We invest across equities, debt, real estate, stressed assets, and renewable energy, with a strategy rooted in value, resilience, and long-term capital appreciation. Beyond capital, we bring strategic and operational expertise to the companies we back. Location: Mumbai

Experience: 5-7 years of experience in real estate business development

Key Qualifications

• Graduate/MBA in Real Estate, Finance, Management or related field.

• 5-7 years of experience in real estate BD, acquisitions or investments.

• Strong network of developers, landowners, brokers and investors.

• Experience in real estate investments/distressed assets preferred.

Key Skills

• Deal sourcing & acquisition

• Real estate market research & valuation

• Negotiation & deal structuring

• Land/development opportunity assessment

• Strong relationship management

• Financial & commercial analysis

• Knowledge of JDA/JV and distressed real estate/IBC preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate real estate investment opportunities.

• Build relationships with developers, landowners, brokers and investors.

• Identify land, distressed assets and strategic acquisition opportunities.

• Conduct preliminary commercial and financial evaluation.

• Lead negotiations and support deal structuring & closure.

• Coordinate with legal, finance and technical teams during due diligence.

• Prepare deal notes and investment proposals for senior management.

• Maintain and develop a strong real estate deal pipeline.
