Senior React Native Developer

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior React Native Developer with 5+ years of experience for a Mobile Development role. You will be responsible for architecting, building, and scaling high-performance web and mobile applications, working across React Native for mobile and React.js for web. The role requires close collaboration with UI/UX, backend, and product teams, along with the ability to mentor junior developers and drive technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of cross-platform mobile applications using React Native

• Architect and build scalable, performant web applications using React.js

• Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs for both web and mobile platforms

• Optimize UI performance, responsiveness, and overall application speed

• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers

• Lead code reviews, enforce coding best practices, and maintain code quality standards

• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers

• Work with Android/iOS technologies as needed

• Drive architectural discussions, technical roadmap planning, and sprint planning

• Take ownership of delivery timelines and technical outcomes

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in React Native for mobile app development

• Strong expertise in React.js, Hooks, and component-based architecture

• Deep proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+)

• Proven experience working with both iOS and Android platforms

• Strong command over state management libraries: Redux, MobX, or Recoil

• Excellent debugging, performance profiling, and optimization skills

• Solid understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and modern frontend tooling

• Experience leading or mentoring development teams

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Node.js or backend development (Express, NestJS, etc.)

• Familiarity with Next.js for server-side rendering

• Experience with Expo

• Hands-on exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile and web

• Experience with testing frameworks: Jest, Cypress, Detox

• Knowledge of App Store / Play Store deployment processes

• Understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
