Role: Senior Rating Analyst - Credit Rating (LCG)

Experience: 2 to 4 years

Job Role: Independent handling of portfolio of Security Receipts rating across corporate and retail stressed loans

Functional Skills / Knowledge

• Technical:
  • Good understanding of balance sheets, P&L statements and cash flows. Ability to build future cash flows and assess debt repayment ability
  • Strong understanding of stressed loans across key sectors like Real estate, Roads, Housing loans or any other retail loans.
  • Ability to understand contractual agreements including financial covenants, clauses and their repercussions
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations relating to stressed assets shall be added advantage
• Client Management / Stakeholder Management:
  • Ability to assist team in meeting preparation covering analysis of past trends and future projections
  • Undertake in-person meetings with senior management personnel at client side to discuss strategy, business and financial performance
• Writing and Presentation Skills:
  • Writing detailed rating reports to explain the rationale behind the rating
  • Making presentations to Crisil Ratings Rating Committee
  • Preparation of sector notes
  • Writing opinion pieces to cover developments / share outlook on various asset classes / sectors
• Regular Portfolio and Sector Monitoring
  • Monitoring and tracking the financial performance on quarterly basis aside from event-based reviews
  • Stay updated on the latest market developments and their implications

Candidate Profile

• Excellent oral and written communication skills primarily focused on managing client communication and report writing
• Ability to get execution of transactions under stringent timelines
• Has relevant experience in stressed assets management and recovery infrastructure
• Experience in handling CXO conversations at in-person meetings
• Proficient in GenAI prompt writing, MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Power Point
