We are looking for a Senior Finance & Accounting professional to join the Outsourced Finance & Accounting team at a leading global consulting firm.

About the Role

This role focuses on managing end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for upstream oil & gas clients, including operators, investors, and royalty portfolios.

You will be responsible for handling full-cycle accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial reports across multiple client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close activities for multiple clients
• Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Oversee AP processes, invoice validation, and data accuracy
• Perform Joint Interest Billing (JIB) with high accuracy
• Handle bank & account reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries and fixed asset schedules
• Ensure GAAP compliance and reporting accuracy
• Act as primary point of contact for client communication
• Supervise and review work of junior team members

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Minimum 2 years in upstream oil & gas accounting
• Worked on R2R Platforms (Quickbook, Bill.com, Sage Intacct)
• Experience in JIB, revenue accounting, or financial reporting
• Prior supervisory/team handling experience
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills
