We are hiring a
Senior RD Engineer to design and develop advanced precision agriculture systems combining
IoT ,
AI ,
computer vision , and
robotics to help farmers increase yield and reduce resource usage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop sensor-based monitoring systems , edge AI solutions, and autonomous ag hardware.
- Build embedded firmware, sensor integration , and real-time data processing platforms.
- Prototype, test, and field-deploy hardware + software solutions in real farm conditions.
- Integrate multi-modal data (drone, satellite, ground sensors) into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with agronomists and product teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Mentor juniors and drive technical innovation.
Requirements
Must Have:
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, CS, or related field.
- 7+ years experience in embedded systems, IoT, or robotics (AgTech preferred).
- Strong skills in Embedded C/C++, RTOS, Linux, and edge AI (TensorFlow Lite / PyTorch).
- Hands-on experience with sensors, wireless protocols (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT), and computer vision .
Good To Have
- Experience with drones, ROS, or precision farming technologies.
- Knowledge of agronomy or remote sensing.
