Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience
- 5 to 7 years of pertinent experience in Quantity Surveying and Billing.
- Prior experience in the real estate or construction industry is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and estimating project quantities accurately.
Managing project costing, budgeting, and cost control processes.
Reviewing and verifying bills from contractors, subcontractors, and measurement documents.
Performing rate analysis and creating comparative statements.
Tracking project expenditures to ensure cost efficiency.
Collaborating with project teams, consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
Analyzing construction drawings and specifications to calculate quantities.
Maintaining records of billing, quantity reports, and project documentation.
Supporting tendering, procurement, and contract management activities.
Ensuring adherence to project budgets and schedules.
Required Skills
In-depth understanding of quantity surveying, billing, and cost estimation.
Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications effectively.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP or other software related to billing and estimation.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Familiarity with construction materials and current market rates.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience with real estate projects is preferred.
Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent coordination and problem-solving abilities.
