Job Description

In your new role you will:

  • Define reliability qualification strategy for new products of high complexity. Accountable for preparation and execution of the reliability qualification. Final assessment of results and related measures in case of deviations. Support delivery release of the product.
  • Create qualification plans, developing them according to the relevant standards (e.g. AEC-Q100) in cooperation with the stakeholders and also taking customer aspects into account, always ensuring that agreed deadlines and costs are met.
  • Support assigned project by providing or deriving quality related requirements and targets from customer input, norms and regulations. Deep knowledge of relevant norms (AEC-Q100, JEDEC)
  • Ensure process compliance during product development and production. Ensure availability of required quality assurance measures and documentation. Advanced knowledge of quality systems, methods and tools paired with the ability to apply them successfully to complex situations
  • Customer communication in case of product related quality topics and questions. Provides release documentation (e.g. PPAP) to customers.
  • Be responsible for quality reporting to our internal customers.
  • Work very closely with both the business unit functional team
  • Check compliance with defined quality standards and quality assurance guidelines, to operate an active risk management system.
  • Support cross-functional teams and stake holders to solve possible escalation cases, if needed.
  • Continuously improve quality-related activities and methods.
  • Closely collaborate with Design Team, Test engineering, Production, Applications, Validation and PJM, during the entire life cycle of product development and production ramp-up.
  • Define & Deploy the Quality Assurance plan for the project based on the project scope applicable standards.
  • Execute the Quality Assurance activities as defined and regularly report on their status and results including process compliance check, work product reviews, Product Release audits, Metrics tracking and Reporting
  • Mitigate risks and deviations versus requirements and performance and manage problem solving (close the gap).
  • Participate and contribute in the project team meetings in ensuring the Quality expectations are taken care and not deviated.
  • Support the projects on QM related activities during the customer visit, audits, if needed

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or Chemistry.
  • 7 years of professional experience in the field of semiconductors, Microcontroller within the automotive industry or automotive product development
  • Experience with quality management, very good interpersonal skills, ability to lead and guide others, ability to solve complex problems and define efficient & effective methods and procedures.
  • Good understanding of the structure and function of microcontroller products.
  • Intercultural competence, as working with international, global teams and customers is an integral part of the job.
  • Good understanding of QUALITY methods, processes and standards e.g. FMEA, 8D, 3x5WHYs, AEC-Q100, APQP.
  • Understanding of the structure and function of Semiconductor products, Hardware-Software interaction, Manufacturing, Failure Analysis Methods etc.
  • Solid understanding on concepts, principles and procedures of Quality Management System, standards, models and Tools
