- Driving Test Strategy and Planning: Define and lead test planning efforts across the team, establishing frameworks, approaches, and coverage models that scale across projects and squads.

- Setting and Upholding Quality Standards: Champion quality engineering best practices across the organisation, influencing how teams approach testing at every level — from unit to end-to-end.

- Designing and Implementing Automated Testing Frameworks: Architect and deliver automated testing solutions that optimise quality engineering efforts across the team and reduce manual overhead.

- Leading Functional and Non-Functional Testing: Oversee functional, usability, performance, and load testing across web and mobile components, ensuring release readiness across all projects.

- Collaborating with Stakeholders: Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into robust test strategies, particularly for supply chain automation and warehouse management systems.

- Contributing to Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Lead the creation and maintenance of test documentation, troubleshooting guides, workflows, and integration documentation to support team efficiency and onboarding.

- Staying Ahead of Industry Trends: Keep the team informed on emerging technologies and testing methodologies relevant to supply chain, eCommerce fulfilment, and warehouse automation.

- Demonstrated experience owning quality engineering across a team or squad, including defining test strategy, setting standards, and driving adoption of best practices.

- Strong knowledge of design, architecture, and testing of cloud-native, microservices-based supply chain fulfilment platforms, including WMS systems such as Manhattan Active and Manhattan WMOS.

- Deep understanding of end-to-end data flow and functional integration touchpoints across eCommerce order fulfilment processes — including task creation, pick, pack, ship, MHE automation, BI reporting, and machine learning functionalities.

- Extensive experience with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with the ability to evaluate and evolve them at an organisational level.

- Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and scaling test automation frameworks.

- Solid experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases, and guiding others in doing the same.

- Strong SQL skills and experience scripting against Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.

- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments, including contributing to spec and design reviews.

- Experience working in a global, distributed team model.

Good to Have

- Experience with functional and integration testing of warehouse automation systems such as unit sorters and ASRS systems.

- Experience with load and performance testing tools and methodologies, including designing and executing LPT models using open-source tools.

- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, continuous releases.

- Background in retail and/or supply chain domains.
