Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA / Test Engineer to join our team. In this individual contributor role, you will be an integral part of our full-stack Salesforce solution delivery, focusing on driving quality and accelerating the application lifecycle. You will leverage your expertise as a subject matter expert (SME) to ensure the highest standards of quality across all integrations.
What You'll Do:
- Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand integration requirements and develop detailed test plans, including test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Test Execution: Perform comprehensive functional, integration, and regression testing for MuleSoft integrations.
- Automation: Design and implement automated test scripts to boost efficiency and increase test coverage. Utilize various testing frameworks and tools for automation.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and prioritize defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaboration: Engage with developers, business analysts, and other teams to understand business processes and integration points. Participate in project meetings and provide regular testing status updates.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive test reports for management and stakeholders, providing valuable input on the overall quality of implemented solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in MuleSoft and Salesforce testing. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance our overall testing methodology.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer in MuleSoft environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and tools.
- Proven experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks.
- Soft Skills:
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
