Role Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright Java and Selenium Java automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web applications while ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright Java and Selenium Java.
• Create and enhance automation frameworks following best practices.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and test scenarios.
• Identify, track, and report defects using defect management tools.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Ensure automation coverage and maintain test execution reports.
  
  

Required Skills

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Playwright with Java.
• Good hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Strong understanding of Automation Testing concepts and frameworks.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit.
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools.
• Experience with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket version control systems.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management.
  
  

Good to Have

• API Testing using REST Assured/Postman.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Exposure to cloud-based test environments.
• Performance and security testing exposure.
  
  

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
  

Experience

• 4 to 8 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
