Primary Responsibilities- Lead Automation Testing Efforts:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage and identify areas for automation improvement
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD process
- Performance Testing:
- Conduct performance testing using JMeter to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance
- Analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights to improve application scalability and reliability
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of automation testers, providing guidance and support
- Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Quality Assurance:
- Develop and enforce quality assurance standards and best practices
- Ensure that all automated tests are executed and results are reported accurately
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, scripts, and test results
- Generate reports and metrics to track testing progress and quality
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates on testing activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing goals and objectives
- Innovation and Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and automation
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve testing processes and tools
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation
- Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts
- Proven track record of leading automation testing projects and teams
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub Actions
- Solid knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Playwright and TypeScript
- Leadership and Management:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of testers
- Demonstrated solid project management skills, including planning, execution, and reporting
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Demonstrated excellent analytical skills to identify issues and provide solutions
- Demonstrated ability to analyze performance test results and optimize system performance
- Communication Skills:
- Demonstrated solid verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Quality Assurance:
- In-depth understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in testing processes
- Adaptability and Continuous Learning:
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies
- Demonstrated willingness to continuously learn and improve skills in software testing and automation
Required Qualification
- Advanced degree or certifications in software testing or automation
