Primary Responsibilities:

• Work as an automation test engineer for Pega Center of Excellence team and own the quality of Pega applications
• Execute functional, Automation, Data base and API testing as per Project needs
• Should work on QE tasks leveraging code generation AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, to develop and test selenium automation scripts
• Develop Automation test scripts using different type of frameworks
• Enhance Automation Frameworks as per the design needs
• Independently troubleshoot coding issues and solve technical problems from the roots
• Setup continuous integration and continuous testing system like Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, and Docker
• Deliver software within an Agile (scrum) environment
• Assist in sprint planning, estimation, requirement analysis and review
• Collaborate with stakeholders to plan test schedules, strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
• Create, maintain and execute test plans and test cases against our software platforms, estimating test efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day-to-day QA activities

• Document processes and procedures in managing the product and making sure best practices are always followed

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in developing automation test scripts using Selenium
• Hands on experience working on AI tools such as GitHub Copilot
• Ability to update or enhance automation framework as per the design
• Good knowledge about testing concepts and understanding of database concepts, OOPs concepts and solid in core Java skills
• Good Understanding on Cucumber, Gherkin
• Ability to take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, automation and analysis
• Ability to collaborate with other teams across the portfolio to assure the success of the overall program
• Working knowledge in Database and API testing
• Understanding of DevOps tools like GitHub and Jenkins
• Understanding of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes

Preferred Qualification:

• Understanding of Pega healthcare or related frameworks
