Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain Control Plans, PFMEA, Work Instructions, and Inspection Check Sheets.
- Lead structured problem-solving efforts using 8D
- Drive root cause analysis and monitor implementation and effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Define and manage First Article Inspection (FAI) and Final Product Inspection protocols.
- Develop and maintain Quality Reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and Defect Pareto Analysis.
- Work with suppliers to address component quality problems and lead incoming inspection improvements.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities.
- Train operators and junior engineers on quality procedures and best practices.
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement (Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma)
Qualifications
- Strong experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- Experience in automotive manufacturing is highly desirable
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements
