About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused QA Engineer with experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. The role involves validating web applications, creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and developing automated test scripts to improve test efficiency and product quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product releases and an excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Perform different types of testing:
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Smoke/Sanity Testing
• Exploratory Testing
• UI/UX Testing
• Integration Testing
• Compatibility Testing
• API Testing
• Load testing
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira.
• Re-test and verify bug fixes.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams during sprint cycles.
• Participate in requirement reviews and test planning activities.
• Prepare test summary reports and quality metrics.
• Think from an end-user perspective to identify potential issues.

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
• Good understanding of web application workflows.
• Ability to write clear and detailed test cases.
• Experience with bug tracking/project management tools like jira, Xray.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
• Experience in API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress or similar tools.
• Knowledge of JavaScript or Python.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience in performance and load testing tools.
• Ability to contribute to test automation framework improvements.
