Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior SDET / Manual QA Engineer to take full ownership of product quality across our B2C platforms. You will lead strategic test planning, drive automation initiatives, and be the quality advocate throughout the development lifecycle. This role demands high ownership, hands-on testing expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-moving startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Execute Test Strategies for functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Build & Maintain Automation Frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines to boost test speed and reliability.
• Collaborate with Engineering & Product Teams to ensure testable requirements and early QA involvement.
• Own Release Quality: defect triaging, regression runs, and final sign-off.
• Track & report quality KPIs (defect leakage, coverage, build health).
• Conduct performance and basic security testing.
• Mentor junior QAs and promote best practices in testing.
• Champion shift-left testing principles and continuously improve QA processes.
• Maintain detailed documentation for test cases, bug reports, strategies, and incident postmortems.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of QA experience in product-based B2C startups.
• Strong in manual testing with proven automation coding skills.
• Hands-on experience handling multiple projects independently.
• Ability to work from office in HSR Layout, Bangalore.
• High ownership, problem-solving mindset, and a passion for product quality.
