Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress/Playwright for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define testing strategies, acceptance criteria, and release quality standards.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility through automation suites.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain pipeline stability.
- Implement test reporting, dashboards, and quality analytics.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve automation failures efficiently.
- Promote best practices in QA automation and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress and/or Playwright.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience in API testing, including mocking frameworks like Postman or similar tools.
- Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to performance testing and visual regression testing.
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
Preferred / Secondary Skills
- Experience with Jenkins, Shell scripting, Java, and AWS.
- Knowledge of integrating automation within modern DevOps ecosystems.
