Role Description

This is a full-time Senior Quality Assurance Engineer role based on-site in Nashik. The role involves ensuring the quality of Aluminium High Pressure Die Castings by executing tests, creating and validating test cases, conducting manual testing, and overseeing quality assurance processes. The engineer will work closely with the production and engineering teams to identify, document, and resolve quality issues while adhering to industry standards and company certifications. The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end quality control, compliance, and customer satisfaction in aluminium die casting operations. The role requires strong expertise in automotive quality standards, inspection systems, and problem-solving methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Operations

  • Oversee in-process and final inspections as per defined control plans
  • Ensure daily quality reporting and monitoring of production lines
  • Conduct pre-dispatch inspection of finished goods and customer-supplied parts

Non- Conformance and Problem solving

  • Review and manage disposition of non-conforming products
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D)
  • Reduce internal rejection and customer complaints

Customer Quality Management

  • Monitor and improve in-house and customer PPM levels
  • Act as a key interface for customer quality concerns and audits
  • Ensure timely submission of required documentation

Systems and Compliances

  • Ensure adherence to ISO / IATF / EHS standards
  • Maintain documentation related to quality systems and audits

Leadership and Process Improvement

  • Lead and mentor the quality team
  • Develop and improve quality control processes
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments

Required Skils:

  • Strong knowledge of die casting processes (HPDC preferred)
  • Experience in automotive casting industry
  • Knowledge of MR, ISO/IATF, EHS systems
  • Expertise in PPM, 8D, and quality analysis tools
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
