Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

YOUR IMPACT

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will utilize superior knowledge and experience for performance testing of applications. As a key contributor to the agile team, you will ensure high quality in test efforts that require multiple test resources and coordination with development teams. You will also be involved in cross-team planning activities such as providing status updates and coordinating activities.

What The Role Offers

• Analysing Product Specifications and Customer Requirements: Understanding the product specifications and customer needs to ensure quality standards are met.
• Creating and maintaining quality control processes and checks this includes coding automation tests, writing test plans and quality criteria for R&D.
• Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios against functional, performance and technical requirements.
• Collaborating with Product Development Teams: Ensuring quality is maintained throughout the production process.
• Identify performance requirements and metrics (e.g., response times, throughput, resource utilization) and appropriate testing methodologies and tools (ex. LoadRunner)
• Identifying Areas for Improvement: Proposing solutions to enhance quality.
• Documenting Quality Assurance Activities: Creating reports for management.
• Leading Quality Improvement Projects: Initiating and leading improvement initiatives

What You Need To Succeed

• Minimum BE CS or equivalent experience
• 6 to 10 years of experience in performance testing, QA, or software development.
• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools (LoadRunner)
• Relevant experience in test automation using frameworks like Selenium, playwright
• Understands iterative software development life cycle and Agile methodologies
• Experience designing and implementing test plans and test cases (manual/automation, framework)
• Familiarity with cloud computing and microservices architecture
• Excellent communication and time management skills
