Define and execute test strategies for web, API, and Appian applications across functional, regression, integration, accessibility, and UAT phases.
Translate business/regulatory requirements into clear, testable acceptance criteria and coverage plans.
Automation & Tooling
Build and maintain scalable Selenium WebDriver frameworks (Java/Python/JavaScript) with robust page-object design, data-driven tests, and parallel execution.
Design and automate Appian test scenarios (end-to-end process verification, expression rules, interfaces, RPA where applicable).
Implement CI/CD quality gates in GitLab (pipelines, runners, test reports, artifacts, triggers).
Quality Engineering
Create and maintain comprehensive test assets (test plans, test cases, RTMs, test data, environments).
Implement API testing (e.g., Postman/REST Assured), mocking, and contract tests; contribute to performance test setup where needed.
Drive defect triage with clear reproduction steps, root cause analysis, and risk-based prioritization.
Compliance & Risk
Ensure test coverage for UK regulatory and product obligationsprivacy, security, auditability, records retention, customer outcomes, and accessibility (e.g., WCAG).
Contribute to audit evidence and change control documentation aligned with UK regulatory expectations.
Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with product, developers, business analysts, and compliance to align on release quality criteria.
Mentor peers, uplift QA practices, and advocate for shift-left testing and observability.
