Senior Quality Assurance Engineer | L&T

Responsibilities

• Contribute to test process, tools, and methodologies to include both manual & automated test execution.
• Interpret requirements for testability and ensure coverage in test case design.
• Present test plan to leads and product owner for approval prior to execution.
• Work closely with the scrum team to drive, implement, and maintain tests in an agile environment.
• Assess impact of design changes to determine optimal level of testing.
• Develop methods and perform load and performance testing.
• Integrate testing with continuous-integration process.
• Troubleshooting mindset, an ability to break down a system or process systematically and effectively into subparts to identify failure mechanisms.
• Ensure proper analysis and documentation of test results.
• Actively participate in team retrospectives. Recommend & implement improvements to test strategy & planning.
• Possess excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Ensure all testing deliverables are of high quality and compliant.
• Experience in bug management tools like JIRA.
• Perform in-depth regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new test and automation techniques, and better assist other team members.
