Job Details

We are looking for a QA Automation & Performance Test Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in automation and performance testing within Ecommerce applications. The candidate should have strong expertise in Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, and JMeter, along with hands-on experience in Ecommerce workflows such as cart, checkout, payment gateways, and inventory management. Experience in API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cross-browser testing is preferred. The role involves developing automated test frameworks, executing performance tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and platform stability.

Requirements

Minimum 4 to 5 years of professional experience in QA Automation and Performance testing
Robust expertise in building and maintaining test automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress
Strong hands-on experience within the Ecommerce domain (cart, checkout, payment gateways, and inventory management)
Extensive experience in executing performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter.

Preferred Skills

Deep understanding of Ecommerce workflows, high-traffic user journeys, and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance metrics analysis (response times, throughput).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for running automated and performance test suites.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills for complex multi-browser web applications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute scalable functional automated test suites using Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress.
Conduct comprehensive performance and load testing using JMeter to ensure platform stability during peak traffic.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand Ecommerce feature requirements and acceptance criteria.
Identify, isolate, log, and track software defects to resolution using tools like Jira.

EDUCATION PROFILE

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant QA or Performance testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB, JMeter/Automation certifications) are a plus.
