Qualification BCA/ MCA/ BE/ BTech (Preferably in Comp Sc/IT)
Years of Experience 4+ years
Technical Skills Required:
Manual Testing (4+ years in manual testing)
i. Good knowledge of manual testing methodologies, techniques
ii. Good understanding of QA processes and management
iii. Hands on experience of designing test plans, test strategies
iv. Proven ability to manage team and assigning tasks
v. Defect Management, Defect Prioritization, Test Case Management
vi. Good knowledge of test management and defect management tools
Domain:
I. Working knowledge of either the OSI layers, Routing/Switching, DNS, DHCP, and Firewalls OR any of the virtualization platform like VMware Workstation/ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V etc including its Expert-level configuration
II. Strong understanding of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), Ciphers, Digital certificates and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles
Reporting and communication
a. Understanding the test metrices, prepare and share with stake holders
b. Ability to communicate effectively with team and management
c. Hands on experience in releasing products/builds to customers with supporting documents
d. Hands on experience in documentations of product communication flows and product guides
System
a. Good understanding of server configurations
b. Good networking concepts and analytical skills
Good to have:
• Automation Testing
a. Hands on experience in automation
b. Hands on experience in framework designing and reporting
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or any other
• Knowledge of Web Services testing
• Hands on experience of client server model-based products and desktop clients.
• Exposure to mobile applications testing
• Kubernetes and Container technologies
• Having domain experience of virtualization especially Nutanix, VMware, Microsoft

Role and Responsibilities:
• Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
a. Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.
• Perform root-cause analysis on complex issues related to networking or virtualization
• Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.
a. Guide teams for understand requirements and provide pointers for designing boundary cases and efficient test model
b. Understand automation structure in place, help team to make it better
• Understand customer requirements, coordinate with development team and get it implemented with general availability in mind
• Establish and evolve QA processes for efficiently delivering products to market with best of quality Good domain knowledge or at-least end user expectations
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
