Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in test automation to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications. The ideal candidate should have strong automation skills, a solid understanding of QA processes, and the ability to mentor junior team members while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile applications and/or web.
- Develop and execute automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, load and stress testing.
- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools (JIRA, X-Ray or similar).
- Review test cases and automation scripts written by junior QA engineers and provide guidance.
- Ensure test coverage and improve test efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Proactively identify quality risks and suggest improvements in processes and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
- Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-Driven, BDD).
- Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.).
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
