Job Description:
We are looking for anexperienced QA Automation Engineerwith strong hands-on expertise inPlaywrightautomation and scripting. The candidate should have a solid background in test automation frameworks, scripting, and quality assurance practices, ensuring high-quality releases in agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scriptsusingPlaywright(JavaScript / TypeScript preferred).
- Implement and enhance test automation frameworksfollowing best practices (POM, Data-Driven, BDD).
- Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testingacross multiple browsers and environments.
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines(Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to identify test scenarios and ensure full coverage.
- Analyze test results, log defects, and collaborate with teams for quick resolution.
- Participate in test planning, reviews, and documentation of automation processes.
Required Skills:
- 9+ yearsof totalexperiencein QA Automation & Testing.
- Minimum 3-4 yearsof hands-onexperiencewithPlaywright.
- Strong programming/scriptingexperiencein JavaScript / TypeScript(Python or Java is a plus).
- Good understanding of automation concepts, framework design, and debugging skills.
- Experiencewith API testing(Postman / Playwrightrequest context / REST Assured).
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrummethodologies.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
