Role Overview:

As a Senior Automation Eng, you will be responsible for leading automation initiatives across projects, managing test teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery using the latest tools and methodologies. You will help define standards, architect solutions, and drive excellence in our QA automation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of automation engineers to achieve testing goals and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Define and execute test strategies, plans, and roadmaps for automation aligned with project and program goals and objectives.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

• Define and implement the overall automation testing strategy, aligning with organizational goals and project requirements.

• Design and maintain scalable, reusable, and efficient automation frameworks and tools.

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices for test automation.

Oversee the development and execution of automated test scripts for web, mobile, API, Microservices and AI based testing.

• Collaborate with development, product, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure quality across the SDLC.

• Perform hands-on coding and troubleshooting as needed to support the team.

• Ensure comprehensive reporting of test results, defects, and metrics to stakeholders.

• Act as the primary point of contact for automation-related discussions with stakeholders.

• Advocate for automation within the organization and drive adoption of new tools and technologies.

Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, Automation with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Strong expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Cypress, Tosca,TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Typescript or C# for test automation.

• Solid understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.

• Proven ability to design and implement robust, scalable automation frameworks.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results
