Role – Sr Automation Testing
Skillset: Selenium + API automation
Shift Timings: 2pm -11pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive automation lead with 7–10 years of experience in software testing, including leadership in test strategy, automation, and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products through advanced testing techniques, mentoring junior testers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes for complex software systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance on best practices and technical challenges.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Perform end-to-end testing including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements where applicable.
Required Skills:
- 6-12 years of experience in software automation testing, with a strong experience in Rest Assured with Java.
- Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium(java), or similar.
- Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java preferable).
- Experience with API testing tools (preferable: REST Assured), postman, ReadyAPI etc.,
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certification.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in domains preferably Airlines domain
