You'll be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive manual test cases, identifying and retesting defects, and collaborating closely with the development team to ensure all issues are swiftly resolved. The Role
As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, you will:
- Test Case Design: Design detailed and effective manual test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Test Execution: Execute manual test cases thoroughly and systematically, documenting results accurately.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects with precision. You'll be responsible for retesting defects to verify resolutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely and collaboratively with the development team throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure issues are understood and resolved promptly.
- Quality Assurance: Play a critical role in ensuring the overall quality and reliability of our financial applications.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and concise test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
- Issue Resolution: Actively participate in discussions to understand root causes of defects and contribute to effective solutions.
All About You
- Experience: Proven experience in a Quality Assurance or Test Engineer role, with a focus on manual testing.
- Financial Applications: Experience testing financial applications or within the financial services industry is highly desirable.
- Testing Skills: Strong ability to design, execute, and document manual test cases.
- Defect Management: Expertise in identifying, logging, tracking, and retesting software defects.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a thorough approach to testing.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with development teams and other stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to pinpoint issues and understand their impact.
