Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist/Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of software development processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications, ensuring thorough coverage of all.

• Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, regressions, and performance issues.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, managers, and support engineers to identify and resolve quality issues.

• Investigate and analyze root causes of defects, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.

• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software quality assurance.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and

retrospectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual and automated testing techniques.

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g.,Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, JIRA, etc.).

• Experience with test automation and scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Javascript

• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and communicate findings effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB or other relevant software testing certifications.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and testing in distributed systems.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing techniques.
