Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to identify software issues and bugs, ensuring applications meet functional and performance requirements. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to maintain the highest quality standards.

Test Planning and Design:
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
Define test strategies for both manual and automated testing.
Conduct manual and automated testing to identify software defects, performance issues, and inconsistencies.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
Log, track, and manage defects using issue tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
Work closely with development teams to reproduce, isolate, and resolve issues.
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
Automate repetitive test cases to improve efficiency and consistency.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and resolve ambiguities.
Participate in design and code reviews to provide a QA perspective.
Performance and Security Testing:
Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to ensure application scalability and reliability.
Work on basic security testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
Maintain documentation for test procedures, cases, and results.
Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
Recommend process improvements to enhance software quality and testing efficiency.
6+ years of experience in software testing (Automation) and quality assurance is a must
Proven experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
Hands-on experience with QA tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Appium, or Cypress.
Minimum 2 + years of experience on Playwright tool using Javascript/Typescript
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
Knowledge of version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Knowledge of security testing frameworks and tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus.
Familiarity with cloud-based testing tools and environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
