Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a well-organized Mechanical/Electrical Engineer with strong technical expertise, leadership, and communication skills to join our Project Management team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in MEP/construction domain works across residential, commercial high-rises, IT/business parks, and healthcare projects, covering both pre- and post-contract responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract Work (Procurement)

  • Quantity take-off and estimation from AutoCAD/PDF drawings
  • Assist in rate analysis and review of General & Special Conditions of Contract (GCC & SCC)
  • Support vendor pre-qualification and evaluation processes
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, bid comparison, and negotiation strategy preparation


Post-Contract Work

  • Contractor/sub-contractor bill verification
  • Manage change orders and cost implications
  • Prepare and maintain cash flow statements
  • Collect market quotes, finalize rates for extra items, and assist in claims settlements
  • Conduct rate analysis for extra items and variations
  • Monitor contractual compliances
  • Validate contractor measurements and invoices
  • Compile cost-related information for Project Management Office (PMO) MIS
  • Prepare cost-tracking inputs for monthly project reports


Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate project records on SharePoint, ensuring team-wide accessibility
  • Prepare regular MIS reports


Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in the Real Estate/Commercial Buildings/Healthcare sectors


Technical Skills

  • Experience in design development stages: Concept, Schematic, Tender, GFC
  • Proficient in Quantity Estimation, Rate Analysis, BOQ Preparation
  • Familiarity with all Electrical & Mechanical packages, and their interfaces with civil inputs
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD viewer, E-PLAN, and MS Office
  • Understanding of project management methodologies


Soft Skills

  • Strong communication, people management, and teamwork skills
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
