Senior QA Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java, C#, or similar programming languages.
• Perform in-sprint automation testing as part of Agile development teams.
• Identify, review, and prioritize test cases suitable for automation.
• Write, maintain, and execute test scripts for both web and desktop applications.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product owners to understand complex functional and non-functional requirements.
• Execute various types of testing: Sanity, Functional, Integration, Exploratory, and System Testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
• Automate and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare detailed test plans, test strategies, test cases, and traceability matrices.
• Work with defect tracking tools to log, track, and manage bugs.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, and SOAP UI.
• Write and execute medium complexity SQL queries for backend validation.
• Provide detailed test reports, identify risks, and communicate testing status to stakeholders.
• Optional: Work with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) if prior experience exists.
