Senior QA

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the highest levels of software quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.
• Conducting manual testing, especially for edge cases or exploratory testing.
• Identifying and reporting defects and tracking them through to resolution.
• Work closely with the product team to understand and verify product requirements and ensure that they are being met.
• Continuously improving the automation framework and ensuring that it is up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.
• Participating in code reviews to ensure that code is testable and that automation is built into the development process

Skills:

• 4 to 7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on both manual and automation testing.
• Strong understanding of programming concepts and be proficient in programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Proficient in using test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or TestNG.
• Ability to design and execute test cases, understand the requirements and acceptance criteria, and generate test data as needed.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools like GITLab, Azure Devops.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelors degree in computer science or any related field.
