Must-Have Responsibilities
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in testing insurance applications and rating systems with a solid understanding of insurance business processes.
- Analysis: Review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and rating algorithms to design effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Data Management: Develop and maintain test datasets that cover all rating variables and edge cases.
- Execution: Execute manual test cases to validate the functionality and accuracy of insurance rating engines and user interfaces.
- Automation: Modify existing VBA code and create new Excel Macros to automate complex data comparisons for rating calculations.
- Defect Management: Manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle using standard defect tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in insurance or a specialization in Actuarial Science.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java.
