Job Description
Must Have Responsibilities (Required)
Must have a solid understanding of insurance business processes, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in testing insurance applications and rating systems.
Can review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and rating algorithms to design effective test scenarios and test cases.
Can develop and maintain test data sets that cover all possible rating variables and edge cases.
Can execute manual test cases to validate the functionality and accuracy of the insurance rating engine and its user interface.
Proficient in understanding and modifying existing Excel Macros/VBA code, and able to create new Excel Macros to automate complex data comparisons for rating calculations.
Hands-on experience with test and defect management tools, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of testing and defect tracking.
Nice-to-Have Responsibilities (Preferred)
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java
