We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to ensure high-quality delivery across multiple digital initiatives within an enterprise environment. The role involves driving end-to-end QA execution, increasing automation adoption, validating analytics implementations, and conducting performance and SEO sanity checks.
The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, structured testing methodologies, hands-on experience with modern QA tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This position plays a critical role in ensuring release readiness, reducing production defects, and continuously improving QA governance and maturity.
Responsibilities
- Define QA strategy, test scope, and coverage across multiple parallel projects.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and comprehensive QA documentation aligned with release timelines.
- Perform end-to-end functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across web platforms.
- Validate user journeys, integrations, and business workflows to ensure release stability.
- Drive and support automation testing initiatives; identify and implement automation opportunities for repetitive or high-impact scenarios.
- Conduct performance sanity checks and validate performance reports.
- Perform SEO sanity validation and analytics tracking verification, including tools such as Google Analytics.
- Log, track, prioritize, and manage defects using tools like Jira.
- Participate in defect triage discussions and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
- Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and project managers to identify risks and edge cases early in the lifecycle.
- Support SIT and UAT cycles, ensuring timely defect validation and closure.
- Define and maintain QA best practices, governance standards, and documentation quality.
- Mentor junior QA team members when required.
- Ensure cross-browser validation using platforms such as BrowserStack.
- Drive measurable improvements in release quality, defect leakage reduction, automation adoption, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software QA/testing within enterprise or multi-project digital environments.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Expertise in functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
- Experience with CMS-driven platforms (preferably AEM or similar).
- API testing experience using tools such as Postman.
- Hands-on experience with QA automation processes and frameworks.
- Knowledge of performance monitoring, SEO validation, and analytics tracking validation.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e. g., Jira or equivalent) and cross-browser testing platforms (e. g., BrowserStack or equivalent).
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (good to have).
- Strong communication, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and multitasking skills with an ownership mindset.
