Senior QA Engineer

Role Summary

You will be part of the Order Fulfillment team. We are seeking experienced and hands-on Automation Lead with deep expertise in Selenium or Playwright-based automation and functional QA. This role requires a proactive and technically strong leader who can drive end-to-end quality initiatives across a cross-functional onshore/offshore team. The ideal candidate will architect scalable automation frameworks, guide testing strategy, and foster innovation through modern tools and practices. Success in this role demands the ability to operate under pressure, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-impact solutions that elevate product quality and accelerate delivery cycles.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Remain 100% hands-on with automation scripting, framework development, and test execution.
• Architect and maintain scalable, reusable Selenium-based automation frameworks.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members across automation and manual testing.
• Collaborate with onshore stakeholders to align testing strategies with business and technical goals.
• Drive innovation by introducing new tools, frameworks, and process improvements.
• Ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
• Manage workload distribution, team performance, and issue resolution under tight deadlines.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous testing coverage.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in QA with strong expertise in Selenium/Playwrite automation and functional testing.
• Proficiency in Java, Python for automation scripting.
• Proficiency with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, Insomnia). Strong knowledge of test frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, PyTest).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SQL/No Sql databases.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
