We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team at SpotDraft's Bangalore office. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in functional and manual testing, solid exposure to automation testing, and a proactive mindset with a keen eye on quality, ownership, and emerging AI-driven tools and trends.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust testing coverage.
- Design, develop, and execute functional and manual test cases to ensure product quality.
- Perform regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Drive and contribute to automation efforts using Playwright or similar frameworks.
- Contribute to performance testing and optimization efforts (preferred).
- Ensure high-quality releases by identifying, logging, and tracking bugs effectively.
- Stay updated with AI trends and tools, exploring their application in testing and QA processes.
- Take ownership of deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices within the QA team.
What we're looking for
- 5-8 years of experience in QA with strong expertise in functional and manual testing.
- 2-3 years of experience in automation testing (Playwright preferred).
- Exposure to performance testing tools and practices (preferable).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- High sense of ownership, accountability, and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
- Awareness and exposure to AI trends and tools relevant to QA
