About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our growing Quality Assurance team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and stability of our Direct Platform & Apps – the core customer-facing booking and property management experiences. You'll work closely with product managers, developers, and support teams to test web and mobile platforms used by thousands of guests and hotel partners across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end manual testing efforts for Direct Platform & Apps across mobile (iOS, Android) and web platforms.
• Design, write, and execute comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on product requirements and user flows.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers to triage bugs, verify fixes, and ensure releases are of high quality.
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and daily standups to align with development timelines.
• Perform regression, integration, exploratory, and UI/UX testing across multiple browsers and devices.
• Validate API responses and backend data to ensure functional consistency.
• Help improve QA documentation and best practices.
• Act as a bridge between product, tech, and customer support teams, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of production issues.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in manual QA with web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience testing customer-facing apps (preferably in travel, hospitality, or e-commerce).
• Familiarity with mobile app testing (iOS/Android) and tools like BrowserStack or physical devices.
• Ability to write clear and detailed bug reports and test cases.
• Good grasp of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Ability to use SQL for validating backend data.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with property management systems (PMS) or online booking platforms.
• Prior experience working in cross-functional remote teams.
