Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in Manual Testing and hands-on exposure to AI-assisted QA workflows and tools. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and mobile applications while leveraging AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and productivity.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, streamline QA processes, and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Identify critical test coverage areas and ensure end-to-end validation of applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
• Utilize AI-powered QA/testing tools to accelerate test case generation, bug analysis, documentation, and testing workflows.
• Leverage AI tools to improve productivity, defect prediction, and testing efficiency.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Work with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and define effective test scenarios.
• Validate application compatibility across browsers, devices, operating systems, and screen sizes.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or SOAP UI.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
• Conduct usability, exploratory, and basic performance testing to enhance user experience and application reliability.
• Contribute to improving QA methodologies, documentation standards, and testing best practices.
• Explore innovative AI-assisted QA approaches for process optimization.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and support the team in adopting efficient testing practices and tools.
• Collaborate effectively within agile teams and participate in sprint ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
• Practical experience using AI tools such as Copilot, Gemini, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted productivity/testing tools.
• Strong experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with API testing and database validation.
• Understanding of how AI can improve QA efficiency, test generation, debugging, and documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and detail-oriented environment.
• Basic understanding of automation testing tools such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Exposure to security testing concepts and vulnerability identification.
• Contributions to QA best practices and process improvement initiatives are preferred.
• Understanding of AI-driven testing frameworks or intelligent test automation concepts is an added advantage.
