Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation and performance testing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
• Identify, record, and track defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Perform regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure product quality.
• Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide testing perspectives.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and lead QA initiatives within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient testing processes.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.

Skills and Qualifications

• 7-9 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Proficient in automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for automation.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
