About the Role

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer responsible for designing and leading test strategies, executing complex tests, and ensuring high-quality software releases. This role acts as a mentor to junior QA engineers and drives quality initiatives across the team.

What You'll Do

• Analyzes business requirements to create actionable test plans for the team. Creates detailed test strategies based on high-level architecture and project requirements.


• Leads execution of manual and automated tests ensuring comprehensive coverage. Plans and develops automated tests to ensure product quality. Collaborates with the security team to refine QA approaches.


• Develops and maintains test plans, test cases, and defect tracking systems.


• Conducts test script and test case reviews to ensure high-quality test coverage. Uses metrics to identify trends in defect arrival and leakage, recommending process improvements.


• Manages testing tasks for self and junior team members. Mentors junior QA engineers. Stays current on testing tools and industry trends. Trusted to review requirements for gaps.


• Strong understanding of customers business and processes; uses this to improve test case quality and identify gaps in requirements. Mentors team members to increase their knowledge.


• Integrates AI into test strategy. Uses AI to analyze defect patterns, predict quality risks, and accelerate automation.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree + 5 yrs; or Master's + 3 yrs; or PhD; or 8+ yrs equivalent experience


• Full-stack QA in cloud environments (AWS); .NET/C#, React, Angular, MySQL, SQL Server, LAMP stack


• Agile methodology experience


• Proven ability to lead test strategy and quality initiatives


• Strong mentoring and coaching skills with junior engineers


• Adaptability, leveraging technology, attention to detail, continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, problem solving/analytical mindset


• Preferred: Familiarity with supply chain software. Experience with queues, caches, CDNs, and testing scalable web applications.
