| We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with 5 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, scalability, and performance of our software products across web, mobile, and API platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality releases in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases. Execute various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Perform API testing using tools like Postman and REST Assured and validate backend services. Conduct database testing using SQL queries to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar defect tracking systems. Collaborate closely with development teams to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and ensure qual ity closure. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure test coverage, traceability, and adherence to QA best practices and standards. Perform performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner when required. Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and process improvement initiatives. Prepare and share detailed test reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates with stakeholders. Required Qualifications 5 years of professional experience in software testing (manual and automation). Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC. Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript). Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured. Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI. Working knowledge of SQL for database validation. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications ISTQB or equivalent QA certification. Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience testing web and mobile applications.
