Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior QA Tester with strong Mobile Testing experience to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have experience testing complex mobile and web applications, a strong eye for edge cases, and the ability to identify issues beyond standard test scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute predefined test cases for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform exploratory, regression, usability, compatibility, and release testing across mobile and web platforms.
- Test complex communication workflows, security features, and enterprise-grade application behavior.
- Perform edge-case and failure-scenario testing to proactively identify vulnerabilities and product risks.
- Validate fixes and log defects with clarity and reproducibility.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to improve product quality.
- Support release readiness testing and sign-off processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of strong experience in Manual (Mobile) testing, preferably in secure or enterprise-level applications.
- Strong expertise in test case design, execution, and defect tracking, with a sharp eye for edge cases.
- Proven ability to design and execute adversarial testing strategies to uncover hidden defects and security weaknesses.
- Must have experience with mobile testing (Android/iOS), including working with rooted/jailbroken devices.
- Good understanding of network-level testing, including use of tools like Network Link Conditioner.
- Experience with security testing tools such as Burp Suite for identifying vulnerabilities and request/response manipulation.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate issues deeply and independently.
- Familiarity with API testing, BrowserStack, Postman, etc., is a must.
Good To Have (Preferred)
- Automation Experience: Exposure to automation testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
- Programming Skills: Familiarity with scripting languages like TypeScript, Python, or Java for test automation
- Performance Testing: Knowledge of load and stress testing tools such as JMeter or Artillery
- Domain Expertise: Prior experience testing secure, enterprise-level, or real-time communication-based applications (e.g., VoIP, messaging, collaboration tools)
Salary Range : 50,000 - 60,000 based on interview performance.
