Who We Are Looking For
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will take ownership of quality for assigned product areas, covering Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and API Testing. You will maintain and improve test suites aligned with ongoing development, drive automation coverage using Playwright and JavaScript, leverage AI tools to enhance testing workflows, and mentor team members. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Scrum teams, participating in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint delivery, and Retrospective meetings.
What You Will Need To Have
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in functional and regression testing.
- Ability to design, write, and maintain test cases from user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology and active participation in sprint ceremonies.
- Knowledge of JIRA (or any other test/requirement management tool).
- Familiar with REST API testing and Basic SQL for data verification.
- Knowledge of Postman for API testing and collection-based execution.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and JavaScript for UI and API test automation (30% of role).
- Familiarity with CI/CD integration of automated test suites (GitHub Actions or Jenkins).
- Actively use AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) in daily QA workflows — for test case generation, script writing, and defect analysis.
Good To Have
- Familiar with the Hospitality Domain.
- Experience with Git for managing automation scripts and test code.
- Prior experience with Playwright or any other automation tool.
- Experience using AI tools to generate test data, summarise test results, or assist in root-cause analysis.
