Senior QA Engineer

Description

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software quality assurance and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through effective testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Perform regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve quality processes.
• Analyze and report test results and provide actionable insights to the development team.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools like Selenium, QTP, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN.
