Job Description

  • 5+ years in QA / data testing, including a data-engineering foundation.
  • Strong Python and PySpark for building test and reconciliation frameworks.
  • Advanced SQL / T-SQL for cross-environment data validation.
  • Experience testing lakehouse / medallion data platforms and BI reports.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and Power BI is a strong plus.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and execute apple-to-apple data reconciliation between legacy and Fabric/Databricks

environments.

  • Validate all 149 Cascade 2.0 columns and channel mappings against the source-of-truth checklist.
  • Build automated data-quality and regression tests using Python and PySpark.
  • Test migrated Power BI reports for data accuracy, filters and RLS.
  • Define pass/fail tolerances (row counts, key measures) and document defects.
  • Partner with data and report engineers to close gaps before business sign-off.
